Can’t help but be bummed my pitch for the Ronald McDonald makeover didn’t get used. They thought his tripod of french fry appendages was going to upset people. Whatever.
Looks alright to me.

“The fuck you think I’ve been trying to do?!”

This book is a great amount larger than I had anticipated. Not that I’m complaining. It’s beautiful.
I originally had the faux leather ultimate edition pre-ordered, but due to it being sold out in just about literally five seconds, it wound up canceled. I actually prefer the green look over the faux leather either way, but it still would have been nice to snag the more rare of the two.
Yoshi is now a ball of yarn.
Don’t care what anyone says, I’m excited. Kirby’s Epic Yarn was nice and relaxing.
My Scribblenauts Unlimited creations so far. (Wii U version.)
From left to right; Jack Mannequin (unanimated due to when you animate him he kindof goes everywhere…), Jack Skellington (animated living version more styled to fit the Scribblenauts universe.), Apples the Monkey (inside joke between a friend and I), Vampire Teddy (also from TNBC, one of the toys in the Christmas takeover),
Bubblehead Nurse (Silent Hill 2 monster gone Scribblenautsified.), and Juliet Starling (Lollipop Chainsaw, I tried giving her the pigtails as on her default costume on LC, but unfortunately Scribblenauts’ style made it look weird.)
This is one of the greatest figurines I have. Phone camera wouldn’t take a properly colored picture though, so it’s a bit blueish.
AW HELL YES
“Only a short time in the future, where we travel to the moon and remodel our bodies, one day the main character Mondo Zappa receives a notification of employment from the secret state agency called “The Execution Office.”
So Mondo Zappa has a similar name to Sumio Mondo from FSR, looks a lot like Dan Smith from killer7, and has a job similar to the Smiths and Travis from No More Heroes… Hell yes.
Once again, I’m beyond hyped!
I haven’t legitimately used Tumblr in quite some time, so i figured I’d do a small review of the Steam Mobile app.
For those of you unaware (that’s like what, two? Three people?) Steam is a popular video game client for PC and MAC. Well, about a day or two ago, Valve launched a Steam client for mobile devices running on Android or iOS. This app is currently in a closed “by-invitation only” state at the moment, but as long as you show interest you may receive a direct invite pretty swiftly.
The app itself is pretty much exactly what you would expect from a mobile Steam. It has all your basic Steam functions. Chat, communities, and the Steam Store to name a few. It doesn’t play your games, obviously, since they’re all optimized for PC or MAC, and as far as I’ve seen there aren’t any current plans to allow Android or iOS games to run with the chat overlay like the true Steam client. This isn’t a big deal really. The main thing I enjoy about this app is the chat and the fact that you will have access to Steam at all times.
Having access to Steam at all times is going to be both great and really bad at the same time. Those of you familiar with Steam know what I mean. The others of you that aren’t familiar, Steam has pretty great sales pretty often. The app will be great to never miss a deal. It will also be bad for this exact same reason. Having these deals in your pocket while at work, school, etc will be the death of hundreds of wallets of gamers everywhere.
The app itself runs smoothly. In fact, for a closed just launched Beta, it runs insanely well. It does have a few stutters here and there as well as connection drops, but this is to be expected in a Beta. It’s also surprising that it works so well when you realize this is Valve’s first true attempt at a mobile app. For a first foray into phone development, the app is very well implemented.
In summary, like everything Valve puts out, the app is high quality and very well thought out. It’s a great app and will be incredibly useful during their deal seasons while also a nice way to make us all broke.
Also, I happen to have an extra giftable invite to give out if anyone with an iPhone or Android device is interested.
