RAPTURE TIEM
(For US Central Timezone -06:00 anyways. Most people are already “dead”, apparently, and those west of us still have an hour or two. I know it’s supposed to be an “Earthquake”, but that’s too obvious…)

Assassin’s Creed Revelations was somewhat announced via Ubisoft’s Facebook page. Here’s my reaction.
PS: Milky milky, Ubisoft. Enjoy it while it lasts, but when the cow runs dry, don’t blame the fans.
PSS: Same for you Activision, we already know you have Modern Warfare 3 coming this year, and another CoD next year, and another after that, and so on.
This song always got annoying after the first few loops, but orchestrated is still bringing the nostalgia pretty hard.
So, our suspicions are confirmed. Nintendo has announced that a Wii successor is in the works for next year. More info at E3 along with payable demo units (June 7-9). Why announce it now? To keep up the suspense, of course.
I’ve been asked a couple times if the Nintendo 3DS is worth the price point of $249.99+Tax (Which comes out at just over $270 in the KC, MO metro.), so I decided I would write this simple, short, to-the-point review.
Question: Is the 3DS even worth it?
My answer:
If you’re a Nintendo fan, and for some reason haven’t already broke down and bought it, then most definitely.
If you’re a gamer, but not necessarily a big Nintendo fan, it’s still a great system… but I’d wait a few months for the big titles to start pouring in. Right now, the titles available aren’t all that interesting. The system also doesn’t have full features yet. Rumor is, that an update enabling the rest of the system is coming next month, however, which means… Internet browser, eShop channel (including Virtual Console and DSiWare), DSiWare transfers from your DSi, and the Nintendo 3D video on demand service thing. Oh, and even later in the year (sometime in the Summer), Netflix will be available if all goes according to plan.
If you’re not much of a gamer, but liked the DS, then I’d say go ahead and read through the previous paragraph, as it’s pretty much the same for you.
All-in-all, yes, personally, I think the 3DS is worth the money. There are too many pros to list, but some of the cons are; A) camera quality isn’t that great, and has to have good lighting to even register anything properly, B) you’ll feel poor after buying it, but you’ll still be happy you did, C) not much of a title selection at the moment, D) not many features available until the first big update next month, and E) way too shiny, smudges very easily which gets pretty annoying.
Delayed pictures of my 3DS.
It’s shiny… Maybe TOO shiny, as you can see. Especially in the last two images.
